The Approvals Manager is a critical role at Clean Earth, responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining the highest standards of environmental health and safety.
Key Responsibilities:- Regulatory Compliance: Review and ensure compliance with facility permits, regulations, and industry standards.
- Facility Approvals: Assist in the approval of new and ongoing projects, ensuring that materials meet acceptance criteria and maintain records in accordance with permit requirements.
- EH&S Inspections: Conduct regular facility EH&S inspections and maintain relevant logs and documentation.
- Training and Development: Schedule and/or perform facility required EH&S training for affected employees.
- Compliance Programs: Administer and maintain EH&S compliance programs, such as LOTO, Hazard Communication, Hearing Conservation, Respiratory Protection, etc.
- Reporting and Record-Keeping: Prepare, review, and submit quarterly and annual reports to regulatory agencies as required, and maintain compliance records in accordance with permit requirements.
Requirements: A bachelor's degree in the area of specialty, with familiarity with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Extensive experience and judgment are required to plan and accomplish goals, and a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
