We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Ultrasound Technician to join our team at Colorado Center for Reproductive Medicine. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform OB/GYN and infertility ultrasounds using various transducers and ultrasound imaging equipment.
  • Utilize 3D/Doppler technology to produce detailed and accurate images of patients' internal anatomy.
  • Work collaboratively with medical professionals to produce high-quality diagnostic images and contribute to accurate diagnoses and improved patient outcomes.
  • Provide education to patients about procedures performed and communicate information as appropriate to patients as visualization of anatomy is seen on display screen.
  • Address abnormal findings with physicians in a timely manner and communicate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and/or nurse coordinators regarding ultrasound findings.
  • Organize work schedules and coordinate efficient patient care flow between procedures.
  • Responsible for marking patient's superbill for exams performed and ensuring payment for services provided.
  • Clean equipment and exam beds between each patient using a germicidal solution and re-stock examination rooms with adequate equipment/supplies.
  • Re-order equipment and supplies as needed and reconcile packing slips for business office.
  • Coordinate with other staff to ensure appropriate and timely patient care is provided.
  • Address patient care issues with appropriate physicians/team members to resolve any concerns.
  • Report equipment issues to the Ultrasound Supervisor to initiate maintenance/repairs required.
  • Provide training/in-service education to team members.
  • Assist with quality improvement projects, AIUM accreditation, and re-accreditation.
  • Serve as a liaison for all vendors regarding ultrasound-related supplies and equipment.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Completion of an accredited ultrasound technician program and possession of relevant certifications (e.g., ARDMS, ARRT) is required.
  • Must maintain active status through continuing education.
  • 1+ year of ultrasound experience required; Women's Health and/or fertility experience preferred.
  • Competent in discerning normal/abnormal anatomy and physiology related to diagnostic imaging.
  • High degree of clinical judgment and accuracy in scanning, able to recognize pathology.
