Job Overview

Mills production engineers are responsible for managing the entire process of manufacturing millwork products, from design to delivery. In this role, you will oversee the start-up and management of a new woodworking production line, supervise 3-4 production employees, and work with spreadsheets and production plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement efficient production methods to meet customer demands.
  • Supervise a team of production employees to ensure smooth operation of the production line.
  • Collaborate with designers to create custom millwork products.
  • Manage inventory levels and maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 2+ years of experience in woodworking or a related field.
  • Familiarity with 2D CAD software, preferably AutoCAD.
  • Knowledge of CNC machinery and production planning.
  • Cabinetry and interior design experience.
Benefits
