Attorney

Vanguard Group Staffing, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Staff Attorney to join our team. As a Staff Attorney, you will play a critical role in providing legal services to the LGBTQIA community, with a focus on general practice matters.

• Conduct intake and individual case work, ensuring that clients receive the highest level of service and support.
• Engage in litigation in state and federal courts, including appellate practice, to advocate for the rights of our clients.
• Develop and implement education and outreach efforts to raise awareness about the importance of legal services for the LGBTQIA community.
• Collaborate with community members and service providers to build strong relationships and ensure that our services meet the needs of the community.

• Member in good standing of the New York State Bar.
• At least one year of legal experience, including litigation.
• Strong understanding of the communities we serve and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Excellent people skills, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
