Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, document, test, and debug new and existing software systems and/or applications for internal use.
  • Serve as a technical resource on development projects, providing expertise and guidance to cross-functional teams.
  • Participate in the full development life cycle, including requirements analysis and design, to deliver scalable, secure, and compliant solutions.
  • Write technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements.
  • Support, maintain, and document software functionality, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Identify and evaluate new technologies for implementation, staying up-to-date with industry trends and advancements.
  • Analyze code to find causes of errors and revise programs as needed, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  • Participate in software design meetings and analyze user needs to determine technical requirements, ensuring solutions meet business needs.
  • Consult with end users to prototype, refine, test, and debug programs, ensuring they meet user needs.
  • Provide complex database query skills, such as SSIS, SRS, Stored Procedures, or other complex queries, to provide technical and business teams with requested data.
  • Mentor other team members, sharing knowledge and expertise to drive team success.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • 5-7 years of experience required, with a focus on designing and developing enterprise-level applications, data extracts, and interfaces.
  • Experience with languages and technologies, including Java, JEE,.NET, XML, JSP, IIS, COBOL, 4GL, HTML, or SharePoint, ATG, Documentum, Search Engines as SOLR, Autonomy, Oracle, SQL Server, etc.
  • Database experience, including Oracle, SQL Server, etc.
  • Healthcare, health insurance, and health providers experience and understanding of processes is desired.
  • Experience with enterprise integration tools, such as Servicemix, Cloverleaf, HL7, etc.
