The Charge Nurse for the Medical Surgical unit is a vital role that oversees the provision of nursing care within the surgical environment. Qualifications
Educational Requirements
- Must be a graduate from an accredited nursing program.
Licenses and Certifications
- Current state nursing license or eligibility for licensure.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
Essential Skills and Competencies
- Proven expertise in acute care nursing practices.
- Prior experience in an operating room setting is preferred.
