Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough injury assessments and develop individualized treatment plans to promote optimal recovery and return to function.
- Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Implement evidence-based treatment modalities, including manual therapy, exercise programs, and bracing/splinting.
- Provide patient education on injury prevention, treatment, and return to play protocols.
- Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Athletic Training or related field.
- Athletic Trainer license issued by the state of Wisconsin.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
- A valid drivers license issued by the Division of Motor Vehicles.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a sports medicine setting.
- Knowledge of evidence-based practice and current research in athletic training.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
