Digital Product Strategist for Automotive Innovation

Paradigm Information Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced Digital Product Strategist to join our team in the role of Product Owner for a 6-month contract with potential renewal.
About the Role:
A key member of our global team, you will be responsible for managing and prioritizing development work streams for complex projects within the truck manufacturing industry. Collaborating closely with software and hardware engineering teams, you will guide sprint planning, set project priorities, and manage product backlogs. Your focus will be on ensuring alignment between technical teams and global stakeholders, including European partners.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience as a Product Owner or in product management, with a proven track record in managing complex technology initiatives, particularly within the automotive sector. You should possess expertise in Agile frameworks, API development, and product backlog management, with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and manage product backlogs, working closely with Scrum teams to prioritize tasks based on business value and project needs.
- Facilitate sprint planning, reviews, and demos to ensure alignment between stakeholders and sprint objectives.
- Partner with technical leads and engineering teams to refine user stories and prioritize backlog items, focusing on connected automotive solutions in the EEV/BEV space.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, Scrum masters, data analysts, and data engineers to drive team efficiency and success.
- Prepare and deliver sprint and progress reports for leadership, maintaining transparency and accountability.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant technical or business field.
- At least 5 years of experience as a Product Owner or in product management, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Practical experience with Agile frameworks, including Scrum, and familiarity with Azure DevOps is advantageous.
- Expertise in managing product backlogs, driving sprint planning, and leading demos to deliver effective product features.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to present to and engage with global stakeholders effectively.
Location: Lewisville, TX or Renton, WA (Hybrid)
Salary Range: $120,000 - $150,000 per year (dependent on experience)
