Job Title: Cardiovascular Intensive Care Nurse

Medical Solutions is seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Intensive Care Nurse to join our team in Albany, New York.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Cardiovascular Intensive Care Nurse to work in our CVICU unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care and be able to provide compassionate and competent care to our patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the CVICU unit
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care
Requirements:
  • NYS Licensed RN with 2-3 years of staff CVICU experience
  • Unit-specific requirements: 20-bed CVICU with an ADC of 11 patients, patient-to-RN ratio of 1:1 or 1:2, and use of advanced equipment such as vents, a-lines, and ECMO
  • Ability to work 3-12 hour shifts and every other weekend
  • Must be able to provide compassionate and competent care in a patient-centered approach
