KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Our dynamic law firm located in downtown Oakland is seeking a Litigation Associate with a minimum of four years of experience in civil litigation to advocate for clients in various legal matters. Opportunities for partnership are available.

The responsibilities of the Litigation Associate include:

  • Providing comprehensive legal consultation, services, and guidance to clients.
  • Representing clients in both state and federal court proceedings, commensurate with experience.
  • Drafting all necessary legal documents for effective client representation, including memoranda, legal briefs, opinion letters, and correspondence.
  • Maintaining a thorough understanding of substantive law and the judicial systems at both state and federal levels, including local court rules and procedures.
  • Communicating effectively, both verbally and in writing, with clients, decision-makers, consultants, and other legal counsel.
  • Demonstrating the ability to work under pressure and respond effectively to client, office, and court demands on short notice.
  • Occasional travel may be required, sometimes for extended periods.
  • Conducting thorough research and analysis of legal issues and developing innovative solutions.

This position is remote.
