Position Overview:
We are looking for a qualified Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our team in an outpatient setting. This role is essential for providing care to children and adolescents facing various mental health challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
The selected candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough assessments and managing medication for patients dealing with conditions such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Depression, Schizophrenia, Substance Abuse, and Personality Disorders. Initial assessments will last approximately one hour, with follow-up medication checks scheduled every 15-20 minutes.
Compensation and Benefits:
The compensation for experienced practitioners ranges from $115,000 to $130,000+, depending on experience. The position includes an RVU incentive plan and a comprehensive benefits package that covers Medical, Dental, and a 401K with matching contributions.
Loan Repayment Opportunities:
This position qualifies for loan repayment due to its MUSA|HRSA score. An application can be submitted to the NHSC or Nursing Corp for up to $25,000 per year in loan repayment, with a minimum two-year commitment required for a $50,000 repayment.
Practice Information:
- Employed structure with a focus on quality care through an ACO Program.
- Outpatient-only model.
- Integrated clinic adjacent to the hospital for seamless access.
- Standard clinic hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
- Behavioral Health Nurse Practitioners typically see 10 to 12 patients daily.
- Each provider is allocated two dedicated, remodeled exam rooms.
Financial Package:
- Annual base salary starting at $115,000+ based on experience.
- Work RVU production bonus with an annual threshold of 2,555 work RVUs.
- Relocation assistance available up to $10,000.
- Paid malpractice insurance with a claims-made policy and tail coverage.
- Comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance.
- Retirement plan with contributions up to 5% of base salary with matching contributions.
- Educational loan repayment of $500 monthly over a two-year term, totaling $12,000.
- Six weeks of paid time off, inclusive of holidays and sick leave.
- One week of Continuing Medical Education (CME) with an allowance of $3,000.
- Signing bonus of $5,000.
- Eligibility for loan repayment through the NHSC.
