Key Responsibilities
- Assist healthcare providers with audiology, optometry, podiatry care, and behavioral health services.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records and charts through electronic medical records.
- Support healthcare providers with administrative tasks, including scheduling, data entry, and communication with patients and families.
- Ensure the integrity of all documentation and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
- Assist with daily operations, including preparing supplies, maintaining equipment, and ensuring a clean and safe work environment.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and healthcare providers.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient flow and ensure seamless care delivery.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the healthcare team.
Requirements
- High school education or equivalent required.
- Medical Assistant experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Working Conditions
This role requires frequent travel to and from assigned medical facilities, with occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds. The ability to push patients in wheelchairs and stand for long periods is also required.
