Overview: Superior Environmental Solutions (SES) is seeking a dedicated CDL Operator / Equipment Specialist to enhance our team in Dayton, OH. Safety is our utmost priority, and we are looking for a candidate who shares this commitment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prioritize safety by adhering to all work practices, regulations, and policies.
  • Safely operate various CDL-required vehicles, including Roll-Off Trucks, Flat Bed Trucks, Vacuum Trucks, and Service Trucks.
  • Conduct thorough Pre/Post Trip inspections on all vehicles.
  • Maintain accurate documentation as required by law and company policy.
  • Utilize high-pressure water-blasting and vacuum equipment effectively.
  • Perform field technician duties, including tank cleaning and shoveling as necessary.
  • Communicate professionally with on-site customer representatives.
  • Lead and guide team members to ensure tasks are completed safely and efficiently.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform minor repairs as needed.
  • Ensure all equipment and company property are kept in optimal condition.
  • Understand and work in elevated or confined spaces, with training provided.

Qualifications:

  • Possess a valid Class A or B CDL license with appropriate endorsements.
  • Experience driving manual 10-speed transmissions or higher is required.
  • Must maintain insurability under the company’s insurance plan.
  • Ability to comprehend safety instructions and emergency protocols in English.
  • Pass pre-employment and random substance abuse screenings.
  • Willingness to travel overnight for assignments as necessary.
  • Capability to perform Technician 1 duties within 30 days and advance to Technician 2 & 3 within the first year.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to distinguish emergency signals while on duty.
  • Must be able to sit, lift, bend, squat, kneel, and crawl repetitively.
  • Lift a minimum of 40 pounds consistently.
  • Work in extreme conditions, including heat, cold, dust, and wet environments.
  • Wear protective gear such as respirators, safety glasses, and steel-toed shoes.
  • Climb ladders and work from elevated platforms.
  • Be prepared for extended hours and variable shifts.
