Senior Anesthesiologist

Job Description:

As a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist with Allegheny Health Network, you will provide exceptional anesthetic care to patients in the surgical setting. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the safety and comfort of our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assessment and Anesthetic Management: You will assess, plan, evaluate, and implement anesthetic management for all patients, providing accurate medical record documentation.
• Patient Observation and Response: You will continuously observe patients under anesthetic care, correcting abnormal responses and involving attending physicians as necessary.
• Performance Improvement: You will participate in the development and implementation of performance and quality improvement initiatives.
• Compliance and Professionalism: You will adhere to legal and ethical standards, following safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Interdisciplinary Collaboration: You will act as a clinical resource, mentoring new staff or students as needed.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you must possess a current PA RN license, certification as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists, and relevant certifications like CPR, Act 34, and Act 33.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous CRNA experience is a plus, but not required.
