Pipefitter Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Pipefitter Mechanic to join our team at Westbrook Service Corporation. As a Pipefitter Mechanic, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing pipe systems in various settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and work orders to assess work requirements.
• Determine installation and repair methods based on blueprints, specifications, and work orders.
• Remove damaged, defective, or obsolete pipes and pipe systems.
• Use tools to measure, cut, bend, and thread lengths of pipe and to install and repair pipe systems.
• Inspect and test installed systems and equipment to ensure proper working order, detect and repair leakages, and ensure compliance with safety and municipal standards.
• Operate specialized equipment and tools to cut, weld, solder, braze, and thread pipes to specification.
• Follow all safety protocols and regulations.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma, G.E.D., or Equivalent (Preferred)
• 2 years minimum of experience as a Pipefitter mechanic or Jr Mechanic.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
