Job Title: Phlebotomist I

At InterSources, we are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist I to join our team. As a Phlebotomist I, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our laboratory services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect blood samples from patients in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Prepare specimens for laboratory testing while adhering to established protocols and procedures.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time to meet deadlines.
  • Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure accurate and timely processing of specimens.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; medical training or phlebotomy certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 6 months of experience in a healthcare setting; phlebotomy experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, staff, and management.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends, holidays, and on-call.
