At Fairmount Homes, Inc., we are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Resident Assistant Personal Care to join our team in our Assisted Living community. As a valued member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents.

About the Role

This is a 24-hour per week position, including every other weekend and holiday rotation. You will be responsible for assisting residents with their daily living needs, such as bathing, dressing, and medication management, while maintaining a safe and clean environment.

Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate can expect a competitive hourly rate of $19.45-$21.00, plus an additional $1.25 per hour for weekend shifts. Our comprehensive benefits package includes opportunities for professional growth and development, as well as a supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Delivers resident care in accordance with the Resident Assessment and Support Plan (RASP) under the direction of supervisory personnel.
  • Assists residents with activities of daily living, including eating, bathing, incontinence care, oral hygiene, dressing, ambulation, and positioning, while observing safety and sanitary precautions.
  • Supports residents with laundry, stocking, and tidying up their room, as needed.
  • Participates in activities and events designed to enhance the quality of life for our residents.

Requirements and Qualifications

We seek candidates who possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A strong commitment to delivering high-quality care and a passion for working with seniors are essential.

Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and maintain physical stamina to meet the demands of this role. A valid driver's license is not required for this position.

Physical and Composure Requirements

This position involves frequent standing, walking, and bending, with occasional climbing and lifting. The successful candidate must also demonstrate the composure to function calmly and professionally under stressful conditions.
