Position Details- Specialty: Surgical Technician

About the RoleUnder the guidance of experienced professionals, the Surgical Technician will perform a variety of essential tasks in the operating room and related areas to support the surgical team.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare for surgical procedures by ensuring all necessary instruments and supplies are available and sterile.
- Assist the surgical team by scrubbing in on various procedures, managing surgical instruments, sutures, and sponges, while maintaining strict aseptic techniques.
- Monitor patient conditions during operations and report any changes to the nursing staff or anesthesia team.
- Maintain a clean and safe operating room environment, including sterilizing equipment and restocking supplies.
- Facilitate patient transport to and from the operating room, verifying patient identity and assisting with positioning.
- Contribute to departmental education by preparing materials for in-service programs and assisting in the evaluation of new surgical products.
1. High school diploma or equivalent, along with completion of a surgical technician training program or relevant experience.
2. Certification from the Association of Surgical Technologists is highly desirable.
3. Previous experience as a surgical technician is preferred.
