This position is ideal for a junior attorney eager to engage in complex litigation within a collaborative environment. The firm specializes in bankruptcy, tax law, insolvencies, corporate litigation, and other intricate financial disputes.
Qualifications:
We welcome applications from recent graduates with prior experience in law firms, government, or clerkships. While previous exposure to bankruptcy and creditors' rights litigation is advantageous, it is not mandatory. Candidates should possess strong academic credentials from a reputable law school, exceptional advocacy skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in sophisticated bankruptcy proceedings, including Chapter 7, 11, and 13 cases.
- Manage complex litigation related to creditor's rights, including collections and secured transactions.
- Conduct thorough legal research and draft essential court documents.
- Negotiate settlements and collaborate with opposing counsel to resolve disputes.
