Job Summary:

As a Phlebotomy Specialist at Eisenhower Health, you will be responsible for collecting blood and other bodily fluids from patients for laboratory testing. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Collect blood and other bodily fluids from patients using venipuncture, heelstick, or fingerstick methods
Process laboratory requests in accordance with established procedures to ensure timely and accurate collection and reporting
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including disinfecting and restocking supplies
Collaborate with nurses and physicians to ensure accurate and efficient specimen collection and processing

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required; Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) certification preferred
1 year of experience in a clinical laboratory setting preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
