About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician to join our team at Building Connections Behavioral Health. As a School-Based Interventionist, you will play a vital role in providing behavioral therapy to individuals in a school setting, utilizing Applied Behavioral Analysis principles to promote skill acquisition and independence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide 1:1 support to clients in a school setting, implementing individualized behavior plans to promote skill acquisition and independence.
  • Accurately record data for each program, ensuring timely and effective progress monitoring.
  • Teach communication skills, social skills, self-help skills, and play skills through Applied Behavioral Analysis principles.
  • Engage in and ensure client safety, responding promptly to any concerns or issues that may arise.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and staff, providing regular updates and progress reports.
Requirements
  • Reliable private transportation that is insured (car, motorcycle).
  • Provide a doctor's release to work as well as proof of receiving the following vaccinations: Covid-19 (two-dose, with a booster when applicable), MMR, Hep. B, Varicella, and TDAP.
  • Provide a negative TB test within the last 2 years.
