Job Title: Driver/Warehouse Associate

">About VRC Companies

We are a reputable logistics company seeking an experienced and skilled Driver/Warehouse Associate to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and efficient delivery of packages to customers.

">Compensation

The compensation package for this role includes a competitive hourly rate of $17-$18 per hour, depending on experience.

">Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Company Vehicles Safely: You will be responsible for safely operating company vehicles, adhering to federal and state transportation laws, and following company policies.
  • Collect Customer Information: You will collect customer information, regardless of media type, and use it to fulfill customer service requests.
  • Pull Access List: You will pull the access list and perform other responsibilities related to bay consolidations.
  • Process Boxes: You will barcode and process new boxes, as well as those scheduled for destruction.
  • Maintain Warehouse: You will maintain warehouse equipment and ensure that all tasks are performed with accuracy and quality.
  • Work with Customers: You will work with customers to fulfill their requests and provide excellent customer service.
  • Meet Productivity Standards: You will meet department productivity and quality standards, working efficiently to complete tasks.
  • Demonstrate Proficiency: You will demonstrate proficiency in operating a picker forklift or other company equipment.
  • Perform Pre-Operation Checks: You will perform pre-operation checks on equipment, including battery, brakes, lift controls, and fire extinguisher.
  • Return Equipment: You will return equipment to its correct charging station at the end of each day.
">Requirements
  • Valid Driver's License: You must have a valid driver's license and be able to pass random drug screens.
  • High School Diploma: You must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Physical Demands: You must be able to stand, walk, sit, climb/balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch, and lift between 10 lbs. and up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong Commitment: You must have a strong commitment to accuracy and quality, and be able to work overtime and around the clock, including holidays.
  • Directional Awareness: You must have strong directional awareness and navigational skills.
  • Candidate Skills: You must have the ability to use handheld devices, electric pickers, drive vans or box trucks, and work well under pressure.
