Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Bon Secours Mercy Health. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care through the use of the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to establish goals and strategies for meeting the discharge or continuing care needs of patients.
- Perform and document complete patient assessments, initiate and maintain current nursing care plans for all assigned patients, and identify patient learning needs to provide individualized and comprehensive teaching.
- Administer medications in a safe manner consistent with the State of Practice and Bon Secours Mercy Health policies and procedures.
- Serve as a point of contact for patients' care coordination throughout the hospital departments and act as a patient safety advocate by participating in ongoing quality improvement in the department.
- Collaborate with spiritual care, palliative care, and ethics to serve as a patient advocate.
- Current RN license in the state they are working or covered by compact.
- BLS Basic Life Support (preferred upon hire, must obtain from approved source prior to direct patient care).
- ACLS Advanced Cardiac Life Support (preferred).
- Medical-Surgical Nursing Certification RN-BC (Registered Nurse - Board Certified) (preferred).
- Critical Care Registered Nurse (preferred).
- Progressive Care Certified Nurse (preferred).
- Certified Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (preferred).
- National Institute of Health (NIH) Stroke Certification (preferred).
