Job Summary

The Direct Care Worker (DCW) is a vital member of our care team, responsible for providing personal care and homemaker/companion services to our clients in their homes. As a DCW, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients and their families.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care services, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting assistance
  • Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding
  • Perform homemaking activities, such as cleaning, laundry, and light housekeeping
  • Provide companionship and respite services for family members
  • Assist with medication management (with RN supervision and delegation)

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in caregiving or a related field preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift, bend, and move with ease
