About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated professional to join our Developmental Disabilities Crisis Prevention and Court Services team as a Clinician. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess client and family needs, and develop and implement effective therapeutic recommendations to mitigate risk factors.
  • Design, implement, and direct clinical therapies and rehabilitation programs to promote client well-being and independence.
  • Provide clinical case management services, including emergency and crisis intervention, to ensure the safety and stability of clients.
  • Evaluate treatment effectiveness and client/family outcomes, and make data-driven decisions to inform program development and improvement.
  • Present assessment results to multidisciplinary teams and participate in treatment planning to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
  • Provide forensic services, including court-ordered evaluations, to support the legal system and promote justice.
  • Coordinate program services with other providers and community organizations to ensure seamless and effective support for clients.
  • Provide client, family, and community education services to promote awareness and understanding of developmental disabilities and related issues.
  • Serve as a designated examiner and dispositioner to ensure accurate and timely assessment and decision-making.
Requirements
  • Licensure in one of the following: Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC).
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, preferably in a clinical or therapeutic setting.
  • Knowledge of court procedures and practices, including familiarity with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Good knowledge of mental health and developmental disability social services and support services, including available resources and services.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a crisis prevention and court services setting, preferably with individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed care and crisis intervention techniques.
  • Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and collaborating with other professionals to achieve common goals.
