Job Summary

The Senior Electrical Engineer will be responsible for planning and conducting intermediate to complex engineering-related activities, applying creative techniques and thorough knowledge of engineering or scientific principles and practices in multiple areas. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to lead cross-functional teams and develop effective relationships with key decision makers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply strong knowledge and background of engineering and scientific principles and practices in a variety of assignments.
  • Develop, coordinate, and direct critical projects or field engineering assignments that are large or complex.
  • Lead or play a key role on process improvement teams.
  • Initiate or perform engineering studies, proposing solutions or recommending alternatives.
  • Develop presentations of engineering-related projects to stakeholders.
  • Develop models and analyze data to support improvement programs, techniques, and solutions.
  • Conduct studies and analyses to assist in the resolution of engineering-related issues; may assist with developing engineering standards and practices.
  • Mentor and provide guidance/direction for less experienced engineers.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology and a minimum of 6 years of job-relevant experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Master's Degree in Engineering or job-relevant discipline, experience with electro-mechanical, solid-state, and microprocessor-based relays, recent experience with testing, troubleshooting, and analyzing relaying targets and oscillography for electrical system events, knowledge of electrical system equipment functions and operation.
