Job Summary

A Relief Driver- CDL (B) is responsible for safely operating a collection truck, and providing prompt, courteous and complete waste removal services for customers. In addition, a Relief Driver CDL (B) is responsible for ensuring his or her vehicle is properly maintained and equipped to handle the demands of the job.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a collection truck in a safe and efficient manner
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition
  • Maintain accurate records of waste collection and disposal
  • Collaborate with dispatchers and other drivers to ensure smooth operations
Requirements
  • Valid CDL (B) license
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer skills
