Benny\u0027s is seeking a highly motivated and energetic Service Technician to join our team. We are currently hiring for the Oil Bay Technician position, which is part of our Service Technician Team. This team is responsible for greeting customers, performing services on their vehicles, and promoting the Benny\u0027s vision of being the best service organization in the Baton Rouge area. No experience is necessary, as we will provide training to ensure you have everything you need to succeed.

Oil Bay Technician Pay & Benefits:

  • Pay is based on experience, with the opportunity to earn a weekly bonus.
  • 40 hours of paid time off, increasing with tenure.

Through training and earning certifications, you will become eligible for raises and promotions. Applicants with experience will be eligible to start at a higher hourly pay rate.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Learn and deliver all services, including express oil changes, transmission services, power steering, radiator services, differential, etc.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the facility.
  • Respond to customer questions and requests.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must be able to work at all locations: Airline Hwy, Essen Ln, Perkins Rd, Coursey Blvd, and Greenwell Springs Rd.
  • The work week is typically 5 days, 8-10 hours per day. Overtime may be assigned as needed and is paid at a premium rate.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Professionalism in all aspects.
  • Able to work in a team environment.
  • Able to learn a POS system and use a tablet computer.
  • The ability to read, write, and speak.

  • Outdoors.
  • Not climate-controlled.
