Dragados is a renowned engineering firm specializing in industrial and power plant construction projects. We're seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Field Engineer to join our team in the United States.

Job Description

  • This role involves overseeing mechanical installation activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.
  • The ideal candidate will work closely with project managers, contractors, and subcontractors to facilitate effective communication and coordination among teams.
  • Familiarity with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and proficiency in using engineering software and tools are essential.

Responsibilities

  1. Monitor and supervise mechanical installation activities to ensure adherence to engineering specifications, codes, and standards.
  2. Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution.
  3. Conduct regular site inspections to assess progress and quality of work, identifying any issues and recommending solutions.
  4. Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting for mechanical systems and equipment, ensuring optimal performance.
  5. Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, inspection records, and compliance reports.
  6. Ensure all activities comply with safety regulations and company policies, promoting a culture of safety on site.
  7. Participate in the testing and commissioning of mechanical systems, ensuring they meet operational requirements.
  8. Prepare progress reports for management, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and necessary adjustments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Mechanical Field Engineer, preferably in industrial or power plant projects.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment, and installation practices.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficient in using engineering software and tools.

Salary Range: $125,000 - $155,000 per year (based on location and experience).
