Pediatric Occupational Therapist

Mozaic, a not-for-profit organization, is seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping pediatric patients develop or regain physical or mental function and adjust to disabilities.

• Assessment and Planning: Assess and interpret evaluations and test results to determine occupational therapy plans in consultation with physicians.
• Therapy Implementation: Help pediatric patients develop or regain physical or mental function through various programs and activities.
• Progress Monitoring: Observe and evaluate pediatric patient progress, recommending and implementing adjustments as needed.
• Documentation and Confidentiality: Chart patient care services in records and keep patient information confidential.
• Continuity of Care: Design home exercise programs and recommend assistive equipment and follow-up care.
• Education and Training: Educate patients and families regarding therapeutic exercises, activities, and equipment.
• Compliance and Safety: Comply with safety procedures, rules, and policies to maintain a safe and clean environment.

• Certifications and Licenses: Cleared/clean NYS Occupational Therapy License must be current.
• Experience: One-year experience working with a pediatric population.
• Continuing Education: Participation in continuing education in pediatric therapy subjects as required by the OT governing authority.
• Driver's License: Valid NYS driver's license.
