As a Pharmacy Assistant at Rite Aid, you will have the opportunity to learn and develop the skills and abilities of a Pharmacist while attending Pharmacy school. You will work under the supervision of a registered Pharmacist and interact with physicians to gain information on customers and prescriptions.

Responsibilities include:

  • Learning Rite Aid's computer system and inputting customer and prescription data
  • Ensuring prompt service in the Pharmacy department by assisting customers and operating the cash register
  • Assisting customers with medical-related issues and providing healthcare counseling
  • Reviewing and understanding the company's policies and procedures
  • Maintaining the Pharmacy department by keeping it clean and in order
  • Completing quality assurance duties applicable to state and federal Board of Pharmacy regulations
