Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Christus Health. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide respiratory care to adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients under the direction of a physician.
  • Perform various technical and diagnostic respiratory therapy procedures, including ventilator management, oxygen delivery, and chest film analysis.
  • Conduct patient assessments and develop respiratory care plans.
  • Participate in CAP and JC surveys and maintain accurate records.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements
  • CRT certification through the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC).
  • Ability to work in a dynamic hospital environment with minimal supervision.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced practice skills in therapeutic gas management, pulmonary function testing, and hemodynamic monitoring.
