About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team at Dialysis Clinic, Inc. in Pittsburgh. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our nonprofit mission to provide individualized care for patients with chronic kidney disease.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with day-to-day tasks associated with our Home Therapies (PD & Home Hemo) Dialysis Program
  • Register, examine, and treat patients under the direction of the physician and team leader
  • Measure vital signs, record information in patients' medical records, and prepare treatment rooms for examination
  • Request medications, lab tests, diagnostic tests, and specialty referrals upon the physician's orders
