Kj\u2019s Market is seeking a Part-Time Grocery Stocker to join our team. As a Grocery Stocker, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and organized store environment, ensuring that our products are properly stocked and rotated, and providing excellent customer service to our guests.

Responsibilities
  1. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests, answering questions, and resolving issues in a friendly and professional manner.
  2. Stock, rotate, and condition all grocery products on shelves according to Kj\u2019s Market standards and productivity guidelines.
  3. Maintain a clean and safe work area, including the sales floor and backroom, to ensure a positive shopping experience for our guests.
  4. Organize and inventory backstock in the backroom area to ensure efficient restocking and minimize damage and shrink.
  5. Assist with unloading and verifying merchandise upon delivery to the store.
  6. Maintain sanitation standards on the sales floor and in the backroom area.
  7. Communicate temperature problems to supervisor (dairy and frozen food).
  8. Perform front-end duties as necessary to ensure a "no noticeable wait" standard is upheld and maintained.
  9. Order product for aisles (as assigned by management).
  10. Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
  1. Friendly, outgoing personality.
  2. Ability to work well with others.
  3. Ability to lift 40 lbs. constantly and 60 lbs. occasionally.
  4. Ability to read and understand information and direction.
  5. Knowledge of grocery operations.
  6. Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
  7. Effective communication and guest service skills.
  8. Ability to bend, kneel, stand, push/pull stock carts, and operate pallet jack for extended periods of time.
