About the Role

As a Critical Care Nurse at CHI Mercy Health, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Your expertise and skills will be utilized to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients with complex medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect and analyze patient data to identify assessment needs and develop individualized care plans.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to implement evidence-based practices and ensure patient safety.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.

Requirements

  • Current RN licensure in the State of Oregon.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within six months of hire.
  • Two years of critical care experience preferred.

Work Schedule

This position requires a 12-hour shift schedule, with on-call responsibilities and a 30-minute response time.
