Zamboni Driver

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Zamboni Driver to join our team at the Tahoe Blue Event Center. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining the ice rink and ensuring the safe operation of the Zamboni.

• Perform general physical labor associated with set up and break down for events, including ice installation, maintenance, glass repair, and rink repair.
• Make repairs as directed by the Operations Manager.
• Operate a forklift truck.
• Drive the Zamboni during hockey games, maintaining the ice to AHL and/or NCAA standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Prior experience driving a Zamboni machine is required.
• Prior experience with ice maintenance is also required.
• Previous facility operations experience is a plus.

The physical demands of this job include regular movement around the facility, standing for long hours during events, talking, and hearing. This position may require work inside or outside of the building, as needed for events. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and perform strenuous physical duties at times, including lifting, carrying, moving, and climbing.
