Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for directing, overseeing, and coordinating construction projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in proposal development, review project proposals, drawings, and plans to determine timelines, budgets, procedures, staffing requirements, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate pre-construction services for projects, including site visits, meetings with clients and stakeholders, and development of project schedules and budgets.
  • Direct strategic planning, provide leadership in business development, and foster strong relationships with clients.
  • Monitor project activities, costs, operations, and forecast data to ensure progress toward achieving stated goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Operations to assign work, distribute projects, manage project managers, and ensure timely completion and profitability.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients to ensure their satisfaction and build a positive image for the company.
  • Establish a network of business associates, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Work closely with Marketing to promote Kraus-Anderson's capabilities, generate leads, and recommend individuals and organizations for KA services.
  • Maintain memberships or affiliations in professional organizations that support personal growth and relationship development.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 10 years of related work experience.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and knowledge of project management software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain a positive attitude while providing exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to use time productively, maximize efficiency, and meet challenging work goals.
  • Ability to maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
  • Exceptional work ethic and ability to uphold company values and demand high standards from oneself and others.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Four-year degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or related field.
  • Knowledge of ViewPoint software.
