Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Electronics Assembler to join our team at Della Infotech Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronic mechanical assembly and/or cabling and harnessing, with excellent team player skills and the ability to read and write English.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble, wire, and install a wide variety of components using assembly instructions, parts lists, wire lists, diagrams, verbal instructions, and notes.
  • Select components to be integrated into sub-assembly and assembly units.
  • Utilize a wide range of tools, including soldering irons, to perform tasks in the manufacturing process.
  • Interface with PC to record job activities.
  • Read and understand Engineering drawings and engineering revision nomenclature.
  • Follow assembly work instructions, including drawing assemblies and MAI (manufacturing assembly instructions).
Requirements
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in electronic mechanical assembly and/or cabling and harnessing.
  • Ability to read and write English and understand verbal and written instructions.
  • Excellent team player with proven ability to accomplish goals through collaboration.
  • Flexible with jobs that can assist in other areas.
  • Adequate computer knowledge to look up engineering EOs using local database and other required documentation prior to starting a job.
  • Prototype cable manufacturing experience (IPC-620 certification).
  • Mechanical assembly (IPC-610 certification).
  • Soldering skills (IPC-610 certification) a plus.
Physical Demands
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel. The employee frequently is required to stand, sit, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15-30 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
Education
  • One year certificate from college or technical school; or two to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
