Job Description:

To succeed in this role, you will be responsible for delivering successful projects. This involves setting and following clear project management standards, including project plans, risk registers, and other project management documents. You will also be responsible for the successful delivery of IT projects and assisting in developing standards, managing the enterprise IT project priority list, and IT Steering Committee meetings.

Responsibilities:
  • Define and document project milestones while developing, maintaining, and reporting on an overall integrated delivery plan with IT and Business Units.
  • Define project scope and facilitate technical and operational requirements.
  • Develop, track, and manage project plans and teams.
  • Plan and conduct project kick-off meetings.
  • Document and monitor project risks, assess the impact of new or increased risks, and develop risk remediation or mitigation plans.
  • Communicate status, issues, and risks to project stakeholders. Provide weekly status reports on the overall health of projects.
  • Provide leadership to cross-functional project teams and maintain project documentation.
  • Audit documentation to ensure completion and follow System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process.
  • Communicate effectively with various key stakeholder groups.
  • Facilitate IT Steering Committee and IT CAB meetings.
  • Participate in stakeholder meetings.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field. At least five years of relevant experience is required. A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Project and other Microsoft Office tools is necessary. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential. The ability to interpret and communicate technical requirements to management, development teams, vendors, and system administrators is crucial. Excellent analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve system problems are also required.
