Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our Electrophysiology team at Hartford Healthcare (HHC). As an Electrophysiology Specialist, you will provide comprehensive care for adult cardiology patients in an outpatient setting and support a busy Cardiovascular/Electrophysiology program.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage cardiac implantable devices, including pacemakers, defibrillators, and loop recorders in an outpatient setting.
- Evaluate patients pre and post-intervention, including patient education, clinical evaluation, medication management in the office, and message triage.
- Provide comprehensive management of patients with arrhythmias, knowledge of anti-arrhythmic and anticoagulation drug therapy.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Master's Program.
- Licensed, or eligible to be licensed, as a Physician Assistant (PA-C), Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), or Adult Geriatric Primary Care (AGPCNP) in the state of Connecticut.
