Pipeline Technician

We are seeking a skilled Pipeline Technician to join our team at TC Energy LLC. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining compressor station engines and auxiliary equipment, pipelines, and associated facilities.

• Operate and maintain compressor engines, auxiliary equipment, pipelines, and associated facilities
• Analyze and determine if engines and equipment are operating properly
• Perform routine maintenance, including lubrication, oil and water level checks, and temperature monitoring
• Support cathodic protection annual surveys and pipe inspections
• Assist with turbine maintenance and exchanges, coating applications, and pipeline operation and maintenance duties
• Troubleshoot and repair various types of electronic, electric, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment
• Locate and mark subsurface pipeline infrastructure
• Oversee and manage pipeline or utility crossings and encroachments
• Perform pipeline maintenance activities, including leak repair, clearing and inspection of right-of-way, and assisting with tie-ins of mainline valves
• Operate company truck and equipment

• Industrial experience in a plant environment
• Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and related software
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and possess excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
• Successful completion of a pre-employment medical screening, including drug and alcohol testing
• Ability to travel to other company locations for temporary assignments, meetings, or training
