Job Description:
As a skilled Registered Nurse, you will work in an Endoscopy Center with a focus on adult patient care. Your expertise will be utilized to skillfully manage pre and post-procedure care, along with airway management and sedation recovery. You will be proficient in handling Propofol, Versed, and reversal agents, as well as starting IVs and interpreting/managing dysrhythmias. Familiarity with EPIC for medication, documentation, and adherence to a set block schedule with a Navy scrubs dress code is required. You will attend a 2-day orientation with the expectation of having previous pre/PACU experience or related acute care experience (ICU, Step-down units, OR, etc.). No call, float, or weekend requirements are expected. You will handle approximately 45 visits per day in an 11-bed facility. Your role will involve engaging with patients in a supportive and efficient manner, ensuring high-quality care. Proper specimen handling and labeling are also essential responsibilities. Note: Call-offs or additional requests could potentially lead to assignment cancellation.
