Job Summary

The Registered Dietitian will be responsible for assessing and planning the nutritional care of our residents in accordance with federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations. This role requires collaboration with the Food Service Director/Manager to ensure high-quality food service and nutritional care is provided.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate clinical nutrition documentation for residents in compliance with Nursing Center policy and procedure, as well as state and federal regulations.
  • Ensure all assessments and progress notes are documented accurately in the medical records.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field. Additionally, you must be a Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the American Dietetic Association and hold any necessary state licenses or certifications. Experience in long-term care environments and geriatric nutrition is preferred.
