Job Overview

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with mill operations as they relate to environmental principles. This includes developing, implementing, and maintaining systems to ensure compliance with Facility, Corporate, Local, State, and Federal requirements of the facilities air, waste, and water programs.

The successful candidate will also lead the environmental review process surrounding capital projects and interface with regulatory agencies on compliance and/or enforcement issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement environmental management systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct environmental audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement.
  • Lead the environmental review process for capital projects.
  • Interface with regulatory agencies on compliance and enforcement issues.
  • Assist in the development of environmental policies and procedures.
