Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel Chef to join our team at Jackie's International. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality dishes that exceed our guests' expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to exacting standards, ensuring consistency and quality in every meal.
- Manage kitchen operations, including inventory management, food safety, and sanitation procedures.
- Lead and motivate a team of cooks and kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless service.
- Develop and implement new menu items and recipes, staying up-to-date with culinary trends and techniques.
- Collaborate with our management team to ensure that our culinary offerings align with our brand standards and customer preferences.
- Ensure that all kitchen staff are trained and equipped to provide exceptional service and maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
- Monitor and control kitchen expenses, including food costs, labor costs, and inventory management.
- Stay up-to-date with local health and safety regulations, ensuring that our kitchen operations comply with all relevant standards.
Requirements
- At least one year of experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel or restaurant setting.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality dishes and exceptional customer service.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures, with the ability to maintain a clean and organized kitchen.
