We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Sprinkler Estimator to join our team at Mircom Group of Companies, North America's leading designer, manufacturer and distributor of intelligent building and life safety solutions. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented professional looking for a challenging role in the fire safety industry.

The successful candidate will estimate new construction and repairs for existing systems, utilizing their expertise in fire sprinkler systems and new construction and retrofits of multifamily and/or all types of commercial projects. Our ideal candidate has 3 years of experience in the field and possesses strong knowledge of industry codes (NFPA & FFPC).

We offer a competitive salary: $65,000 - $90,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications, as well as opportunities for career advancement, group insurance benefits, and a company 401K program.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform system engineering estimation to support the branch sales team
  • Create cost estimates consisting of materials, sub-contractors, purchased equipment, labor, and other construction-related activities to assist Sales in bidding or determining the price of a project
  • Utilize plans and specifications to analyze project needs and compile detailed cost estimates

To succeed in this role, you should have excellent planning and organization skills, be able to read and interpret architectural, electrical, and mechanical drawings, and possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
