Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dietary Aide to join our team at Atlanticare Management DBA Putnam Ridge. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by providing exceptional food service and maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas to maintain a high level of hygiene and safety.
  • Prepare and serve food in a timely and efficient manner, adhering to established protocols and procedures.
  • Assist with food preparation, including loading and unloading goods, and storing them in approved fashion.
  • Participate in in-service education training sessions to stay up-to-date on the latest procedures and best practices.
  • Report any incidents or concerns to management in a timely and professional manner.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management to ensure the smooth operation of the food service department.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience in a healthcare facility or food service establishment preferred.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 40 pounds, and push/pull 125 pounds.
