Position Title: Sales Associate

Reporting To: Store Leader

Position Overview: The Sales Associate plays a crucial role in representing and conveying the Kate Spade brand to customers through exceptional sales skills, product knowledge, and outstanding customer service. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client & Service Expertise:
    • Meet and exceed individual sales targets.
    • Develop comprehensive product knowledge across all categories.
    • Ensure exemplary customer service by delivering the ultimate Kate Spade experience.
    • Build a personal clientele through effective selling techniques and proactive outreach.
  • Brand Equity Building:
    • Communicate the Kate Spade aesthetic and brand philosophy to customers.
    • Demonstrate a collaborative spirit and ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Operational Excellence:
    • Execute operational tasks in accordance with company guidelines.
    • Process all point-of-sale transactions accurately.
    • Maintain visual standards and ensure store presentation is upheld daily.

Physical Requirements:

  • Availability to work the store schedule, including evenings and weekends.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Capable of lifting boxes weighing up to 40 pounds.
  • Comfortable climbing ladders.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Exceptional selling and interpersonal skills.
  • Prior experience in luxury goods is preferred.
  • Proactive in multitasking and prioritizing tasks.
  • Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.
