Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years old to apply
  • Previous experience in roofing is highly advantageous

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect materials from storage facilities or suppliers, ensuring accuracy before delivery to job sites.
  • Return any surplus materials to the supplier as necessary.
  • Document material pickups and returns in the appropriate job records.
  • Retrieve materials from job sites as required.
  • Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in stock areas.
  • Ensure tools and equipment are kept in good working order.
  • Collaborate with the fleet manager to assist in vehicle maintenance.
  • Help maintain precise material inventory records.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license is required.
  • Ability to operate various hand tools and equipment.
  • Basic computer skills are necessary.
  • Capability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately.
  • Physical ability to lift weights ranging from 5-40 lbs without assistance.
  • Comfortable working in confined spaces.
  • Experience working at heights over 5 feet regularly.
  • Ability to stand, sit, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods.
  • A strong work ethic with a positive attitude is essential.
  • High energy levels and a flexible work schedule are preferred.
