Job Summary

Vaco is seeking a highly skilled Loan Specialist/Processor to join our team. As a Loan Specialist/Processor, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and compliance of loan documents, as well as providing exceptional customer service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loan Document Review: Review and verify consumer loan documents to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Force Placement of Insurance: Assist with the force placement of insurance for clients.
  • Loan Document Scanning: Scan and verify HMDA withdrawn/denied loans, as well as scan incoming loan documents into our system of record.
  • Property Tax Monitoring: Monitor property tax installment payments and maintain the Delinquent Taxes Spreadsheet.
  • Loan File Room Maintenance: Maintain the Loan File Room and ensure all documents are up-to-date and accurate.
  • Customer Service: Assist the Loan Servicing Department with incoming calls, providing exceptional customer service and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Payoff Calculations: Calculate payoffs as requested by internal and external customers.
  • Departmental Support: Distribute daily reports and incoming mail to the department.
